Induction heating is a non-contact heating process which applies high frequency electricity to heat materials that are electrically conductive. Since there is no contact, the process does not contaminate material being heated. The heat is generated inside of the material.  That way it is contrasted from other heating methods using flames or heating elements.

Thus induction heating is commonly used in many applications where electrically conductive materials must be brought quickly to a high temperature in a clean, efficient and controlled manner.

Common applications:

• sealing of the anti-tamper seals that are stock on the top of drink or medicine bottles,

• removal of contaminations from vacuum tubes or various discharge lamps.

• Zone purification in semiconductor manufacturing industry,

• Melting, welding or brazing of metals.

The power equipment we commonly manufacture for this application is the AG Series Low Frequency RF generators & amplifiers, namely AG 1016 with T1K matching transformer; and AG 1010, AG 1012, AG 1024 generators with T1K & T2K transformers.
